Lexington scored first half when Nick Woo failed to clear ball with his head. 1-0 at the half Bulls came out in second half with new motivation putting Lexington under pressure. Diagonal cross from right side was dropped by the Lexington keeper . Zach Kimbler was there to pounce on it. 1-1 until final five minutes left when referee claims he missed a Lexington player kick center back Sellars in stomach. Sellars went down and Lexington player continued to dribble and fired a shot into lower left corner. Final score 2-1. Heath Brace given yellow card for dissent or unsporting behavior. Referee missed a clear opportunity to give Lexington a yellow card when they failed to respect proper distance on a free kick. Bulls players felt that official was only making calls on them. In fact there were times when players went down for injuries and the referee appeared to not know what to do. He failed every time to signal or gesture for medical attention or help to enter the field. On one occassion the Bulls keeper Charles Bostwick went down after suffering a blow to the head out side of the box. The referee did not stop play. Until ball was out of play . Referee needed more training on player safety.
