We got off to a great start in this game. Manny played a great ball up the wing to Max. Max beat a couple of players and got into the six yard box and slotted home the ball under a diving keeper. We continued to press and created a lot of chances. Mt Pleasant defended hard and denied us another goal in the first half. In the second minute of the second half James made a nice run down the flank and played a lovely ball across the six yard box. Robert met the ball at the back post and headed home a beauty. Mount Pleasant were still playing hard and without any subs were getting worn down. In the seventy second minute some good ball movement resulted in Patrick feeding Max for his  second goal. Three minutes later Jamie beat his marker and fed Max the ball for his hat trick.  Mt. Pleasant's keeper had to leave the game and brought them down to ten men. In stoppage time we scored the goal of the game. Jacob won a header and got the ball to Blaise who took a couple of touches and struck a screamer from about twenty two yards out. The keeper got a finger to it but the power was too much and it shook the net. Overall we played well as a team, but we needed to make good on more of our early chances.
